We sincerly apologies for the delays that had been experianced for the past few months as we worked at a reduced capacity to fullfill all orders from customers who gave us their support.
COVID-19 Updates
At Wholesales Direct, the safety and well-being of our customers and our employees is always our top priority. We are actively monitoring the evolving COVID-19/Coronavirus situation and taking steps to help keep our communities safe. We wanted to share with you some steps we are taking throughout our organisation.
Please be assured that we will do everything possible to try to maintain our usual delivery performance, and to mitigate any negative impacts on our valued customers such as yourself.
Our sales teams and services will continue to be available on a reduced schedule via counter collections and as normal by phone, email and our website. Of course, we will remain available for any questions you may have via phone and e-mail.
We are evaluating inventory and making necessary purchases to mitigate possible disruptions. The impact that suppliers and vendors have on us is constantly being reviewed as we continue to monitor the evolving situation. However, we do anticipate some delays in deliveries may occur due to travel restrictions imposed globally.
As the situation changes rapidly, we will update you as soon as possible with any important changes that affect our support to you.

Wishing all a happy and safe holiday season. To our valued customers and friends, we regret that there has been a severe lack of skilled workers at our factory for sheds and also our furniture factory, as such your orders may be delayed if ordered after 1st Nov 2020. We expect this to last until mid Feb 2021. The value and the quality of our products is very important to us and while we can follow others to cut corners and hire unexperianced labour, we have made the decision to keep quality high and continue to provied our customers with the best products at the best prices. Victorian Stage 4 restrictions, step 3: We are for open online click and collect now from our main warehouse again. A big thank you to all of our customers for their patience and understanding. Orders are being dispatched on schedule and according to plan. Our major partner carriers are still operational and Australia post has returned to normal delivery times even with ever changing state border closures. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. Thank you and may everyone have a safe day ahead.
Victorian Stage 4 restrictions: We are still open online and orders are being dispatched on schedule and according to plan. Our major partner carriers are operational at normal and not affected as of now, from the state border closures. Pickups from our main Dandenong warehouse is still limited to our wholesale and trade partners. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused. Stay safe everyone.
Stage 4 restrictions in Victoria. Our thoughts are with all whom are affected by the tragedy which is COVID-19.
Victorian is now at stage 3 restrictions. Local pickups from our Dandenong South warehouse is closed to the public until restrictions are once again lifted. We are working on arranging freight with customers whom where originally going to pick up.
Victorian Government advises that some locations can re-open while observing the social distancing rules. We are happy to announce that our showroom will re-open from Monday 18th May, with the limitation of one set of customers at any given time on premise. Customers will be taken one-on-one by one of our experts.
We have reviewed shipping data and even with the increased load, shipments are arriving on time and on target. We have put measures in place to alleviate the rush coming back from Easter weekend (Normal closures Friday and Monday); some orders will be processed even over the weekend automatically for dispatch so minimal handeling and delay would be required on Tuesday.
Stage 3 restrictions to be in place for our home base Victoria starting midnight tonight. Deliveries will still be flowing normally there are a few delays due to an influx in volume of deliveries. We thank all of our customers for their support and understanding in these unceritain times. Rest assured that if you place an order with us, it will get shipped out asap if/once the stock is available.
Although we encourage customers to use our delivery services, pickups at our depots, including the main depot at Danenong South, will still be functional, however be limited to 1 customer at a time, other customers are asked to wait outside the premises inside of their vehicles until directed.
We have confirmed with suppliers and the freight companies that our containers will be arriving as per usual and the factories overseas are operational as of 4 weeks ago and reached normal operating capacity 2 weeks ago. Goods made in Australia is delayed as of today, but for most items we have built up plenty of stock due to our planning for this event.
Showroom closed until further notice to comply with government regulations
QLD and SA close boarders. Confirmation from all major freight companies that majority of deliveries will not be effected. Some furniture deliveries will not be delivered into the house anymore.
